AFFiRiS started its operations with three members of staff. By today, AFFiRiS has 50 employees, and in early 2009 it extended its facilities at the Vienna Biocenter campus in Vienna's 3rd district from 600 m2 to a total of 1700 m2.
AFFiRiS drive for success relies first and foremost on its excellent and highly motivated scientific and technical personnel. This international team, with members from seven countries, combines comprehensive competences in the fields of medicine, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and immunology.
